The Washington DC temple
I love the Temple. I am glad that there is one so close. When things are really crappy or when I need a bit of peace in the midst of my crazy sometimes-stressful life, I know that I can always go to the Temple. It is always sitting there, waiting for me to come visit. It feels like home in there. You know, comfortable like home.

I know what you mean. After having baby #1 and then baby #2 little time was left for us to go. So, as awful as it sounds, it was close to a year before we finally made it back last weekend. It felt so wonderfully peaceful there and instilled a strong desire for me to attend more regularly. I just worry so much every time I leave my kiddos-shouldn't stop me, but I'm a worry wart! There is a temple being built in the near future down the street from our house in Gilbert so when that is done there really is NO excuse not to attend. It will be heavenly-literally.
I love the temple too! And the DC temple is so special because of its view from the beltway. We just had our stake temple day and it was so great to get away from daily life and spend a peaceful day in the temple.
