The Nats new home.

Susan, Tasha, Me, Sherlyn and Dana.
Tonight Susan got us great tickets to the Washington Nationals game. We were on row 26 - so close! The Nats got a new stadium this year and it is nice, this was my first time there. Sitting there in the middle of the park makes you forget that you are in the city and just lets you get caught up in the game. The weather was perfect. And I was able to indulge in Frito Chili Pie, something I have not had since my days in Texas.
Probably the best thing was the Presidential Race. Instead of the dot race like other stadiums, the Nats had the big-head presidents race across the field. Those are a rowdy bunch of old men. Thomas Jefferson won the race and the Nats beat the Reds 10 to 6. Thanks Susan for hooking us all up with the tickets!

The Presidents' running down the field for the half time race.
left : "Tommy" Jefferson, followed closely by George Washington
right: "Abe" Lincoln finally coming in third this evening.
