Yesterday at work a woman called and asked if anyone at the firehouse could use three tickets to the Redskins game tonight. I firstly made sure we could accept them, and then said YES! I had never been to a live NFL game before. It was my good fortune that none of the boys could go on the short notice so I grabbed the biggest football fan I knew, his wife and cute kid.
The game was cool. We had seats 13 rows from the field; they were AWESOME. It is amazing how much more you can get into the game with good seats. The Jaguars killed the Redskins even though the Skins played their first string (it was the last pre-season game). Luckily I do not have strong feelings towards either team so I just enjoyed the atmosphere and cheered to make Carson cheer. It was a really fun night.
Thank you Michelle for your "charitable donation" to the Fire Department and enjoy that $300 write off on your taxes. We sure enjoyed it.

Man that little boy is handsome! Tell Sarah to get on her blog and update it so we can see more pics of that cutie little man! Glad you had so much fun at the game.
