So I was going to write about my good friend Maggie and our great picnic at the Netherlands Carillon today and our awesome view, all of which made me very happy. But that changed when I bit into my sandwich from Harris Teeter. I mean look at that thing! It is like a piece of art. And it was delicious. AND cheap! What more can you ask for in a sandwich?!? I really enjoyed that sandwich.
Okay, while my feelings for the sandwich are not an exaggeration, I did enjoy my time spent and the conversation with Maggie more than I did the food. Maggie is a dear friend who I do not get to spend enough quality time with. She is the kind of person that every second spent with her is quality. Maggie is ... [I wrote more here but deleted it. It sounded like I was in love with her. Which I am not.] I just value our friendship a lot and I am glad to have her as a part of my life. Love you Maggs. Love you like a sister.
