Got new shoes today! There is a great store in Old Town called Pacers. Their staff will evaluate your walk/run and foot then recommend shoes that will best fit your needs. It is a great place. I have to admit that I am a usually pick my shoes based mostly on how they look. I am a girl, I am allowed to. (Yes men, I also call shoes cute. And cars. Cars can be cute. Mine is.) Above are my new shoes. I would have never bought them. I have never even heard of Saucony. I liked the Nikes, they were the cutest. But my feet liked these better. Can't wait to take them on a long walk.

You've made the switch!!! I used to soley buy my shoes on looks too (well-price probably played a role in that too), until a few years back when my dad made me go to the running store to get fitted and all of that. It's funny when you let your feet do the deciding instead of your wallet or brain! Anyway-it makes a world of a difference when you actually train in them. Saucony's are soo comfy! (i have too narrow a foot for them). I'm proud of you! PS-I *think* they are rather cute thought :)
Hey Camille. I run a lot, and Nikes are crap. Also I coincidentally happen to have a good pair of Saucony right now so I am biased when I say that you chose well :)
