Ashley made this. It is a cake... of cupcakes. Ingenious! And impressive. Chocolate cupcakes with mint frosting were a delicious combo. The brown scales were mint cookies. "Talons" as Ashley called them, claws to the rest of us who are not alligator hunters, were shaped from Starbursts. The teeth and eyes were marshmallow and the eyeballs Junior Mints.
The coolest part was that you could just pull this cake apart! Want some tail? Grab it. Eyeball? No problem. Body loaded with extra mint cookies? Pull a chunk off. Need a hand? Take it! It was such a fun cake to eat. Ashley rocks.

You guys are seriously the best little cake decorators! You guys should compete for Ella's favorite birthday cake come Feb...that way, Ella would have an awesome cake and I wouldn't be the one stressing over it! Hey...I'd pay for all of the supplies. Think about it!
