Good morning sunshine! Today I was held over until the next shifts Medic could get there. The sun was out and it was a beautiful morning.

We did our normal checkouts and shoveled some more. I waited patiently for the ice/snow shelf sagging off the middle roof to collapse.

We had some pretty cool icicles. This one was the record breaker at just under three feet long. I had visions of
Christina Yang form Gray's getting impaled with an icicle.

Josh pointed out these cool ice creations. They looked like ice bubbles. We don't know how they were formed, but they are awesome. Possibly they are magical ice sculptures made by the same ice fairies that made
these. Or maybe they are from the water melting off the icicles on the roof, dripping to the ground and then re-freezing.

After my relief came in, I wanted to go play in the snow. I said goodbye to my snow frosted third home and called Erika. I thought who better to go play with then my favorite little girls Ella and Jane.

The main roads were plowed but still had the icy/slushy layer on them. But once you get to the side roads, like this one leading to the Pattee's, they were a snow disaster.

It was fun to hang out with crazy Ella and Jane. We climbed on plowed snow mountains and went sledding on a path that Jon made. I also learned about Ella's newest crazy - she loves eating snow on twigs. She dips the stick into the snow and then eats the snow off it.

Twig ala snow. Yum.

It was just so pretty outside. Everything was decorated with clean white snow.

When I finally got home, this was the damage. The clocks were blinking indicating that I had missed a power outage. I was grateful that the power was on now and I was able to relax at home.
It was lovely to be back.
