Snowmageddon 2: This time it's personal

It's back. Blizzard #2 in less than a week. It was supposed to start this afternoon but it has held off till tonight. I am back at work. Surprise. Not much to report yet - except we have a potential entry for the Darwin awards.

These two geniouses are shoveling snow off a roof. As a safety precaution (because the roofs are angled and covered with snow and sheer slippery ice) they are tied at the waist to each other. And the guy at the top is on the same side at the guy shoveling, not even on the other sloping side.

Right. So if one falls, the other gets yanked with him. Smart. Luckily they are across the street from the firehouse so we watched, waiting for our next EMS call. We called the helicopters and put them on standby to fly these guys to the trauma center. Not really. But we thought about it.
