Do you think I could find someone to marry me who would let this be our wedding cake?
I designed it the other day when I was having trouble paying attention in class. It would be perfect for the luau reception. Wait, I suppose if I could talk him into a luau reception then I could probably talk him into this cake. Maybe. Or maybe this would push him over the edge.
It would be delicious; butter cream frosting for the outside and just the figurines (snorkelers, towels and palm tree) made in fondant. And the snorkelers would be holding hands while snorkeling. So cute. I haven't decided if there should be anything on top of the top layer. I will leave the cake flavor/filling up choice up to him. That's a good deal right?
I have been watching Ace of Cakes way too much.

I so love Ace of Cakes, too! It gets DVR'd every week. Amazing. Great cake design...you could probably get a job there, too.
I say if he doesn't like the cake he probably doesn't know you to well :) Remember the groom's cake we made for Brian? What was I thinking?? Funny. Your design is much better. Miss ya! When are you going to come visit me? Oh wait you are poor too, we could meet in the middle, would that be Nebraska?
