This morning I woke up to the above. I was at the firehouse and had to drive home in it. Needless to say it took a while. When I got home I looked around in awe at the amount of snow. See our deck railing? (bottom left) Realize that the wide bottom strip is the broad side of a 2x4 and the top narrow strip is the short side. That's a lot of snow. I was giddy.

Tasha, Dani, Whitney and I decided to hit Panera for some warm soup and sandwiches. Panera is great comfort food; their broccoli cheddar soup in a sourdough bread bowl warms your soul. After a quick stop at the grocery store for Peeps, we went back to Tasha and Dani's and played in the snow. What good is a snow day without playing in it a little?

Back inside we warmed up, put on Canadian SYTYCD and relaxed. Our mid-day entertainment was attempting to have Peep Wars. Urban Legend is that you could stick toothpicks in Peeps, microwave them, they would puff up extending the toothpicks into each other and pop their opponent. Yeah. Um. It did not work. We tried many different variations in our scientific exparament:different Peep arangements, toothpick placement, types of Peeps, and jousting surfaces. Conclusion? Myth: Busted.
