bridges

I have a thing for bridges. Not sure why. The Golden Gate has always been a favorite. I love its dark orange contrast against the deep blue water as it stands majestically representing the city where I left my heart. I love walking across the Brooklyn bridge and admiring its lines as the cables span across its old beautiful construction. (note: if you're walking it try to catch sunset, it is amazing) I also enjoy the Bay Bridge. I feel like it is often overlooked because it is just gray which is a little dull in comparison to the Golden Gate, but it is a good bridge with nice crisscross towers and an impressive span. I also appreciate that it is my gateway into the city. When I moved to the east coast I happened upon the Ben Franklin. I really like its blue color and for some reason it reminds me of the Bay Bridge a little. So there you have it. I have a thing for bridges.
