sun-in

The lighting is a little off, but it's all nice and golden.

I just noticed that my hair is looking particularly blonde today. It made me smile. Blonde hair makes me think of the summer. Of life guarding and teaching swim lessons and enjoying the humidity-free California outdoors. I would kill for spring to be here right now. The sun is shining in the windows of the firehouse, it looks like you should be able to walk outside into sunny 70-80 degree weather. But in reality, if you walked out the doors of this station, your system would be shocked with wind gusts and a temperature of 24 degrees. No good.

I was also happy because if my hair was looking blond, it meant the sun-in that I applied twice in the past week is working. True confession: I use sun-in in the winters. I have to. I am blonde. Well, dirty blonde. My drivers license says so. And I can't commit the time nor the resources to dyeing my hair. (I did that once. Maybe I will dig up my first drivers license later and blog about it. It is priceless.) Sun-in is awesome.

"Priceless" isn't exactly the word I was thinking of to describe your first dye job Cam! LOL
