green is good

Today I felt good about going a little green. I am from Northern California but I am not a crazy tree hugger. I recycle when it is convenient but have no problem driving my car instead of riding my bike. Each time I get groceries I end up with all those extra plastic bags and I think to myself "that can't be good for the environment" and I feel a twinge of a guilt for a second. Then I get over it until after I have already purchased my next week of groceries and I remember what a waste it is.

Today I decided to do something about it. I was at TJ's and I remembered my weekly guilt. So I bought re-useable bags. I feel good about it.

I bought Costco bags and after 3 months they are finally in my trunk awaiting the next costco run. But I have yet to remember to bring them in with me! A lot of good they are LOL

Now, you just have to remember to bring them everytime you go shopping. I think I'm about 50% with that one.

Nice. I've been doing the reusable bag thing for a couple years...Nate makes fun of me for it. I'm glad to have a comrade in the reusable- grocery-bag world (there aren't too many of them in Utah).
