christmas

One nice thing about not having kids at the house is sleeping in on Christmas Day. We had breakfast at 10am-ish, a delicious eggs florentine casserole that I had been wanting to try out and Dad's traditional potato cinnamon rolls.

Then the presents began. It turns out that Clay is a great shopper for his wife.

These two seemed to enjoy having all their kids home again. Oh, and it is almost their 30th wedding anniversary.

Poor Byrce was sick so he didn't get to fully enjoy everything. He made off with some good stuff too.

We enjoyed the festivities. I got a cool leatherman and David got a ton of nerf guns.

After everything was opened, the boys put together Bryce's tricycle. He was too sick to help, but he watched everything from the safety of Cathi's arms.

That afternoon the Adair's came over. We had a great feast, turned some of Grandpa's old ties into hair wraps, ate, played musical glasses, tried the new Curses game out and then headed to the movies later that night.
