sew domestic

I made a baby blanket tonight.

I finally bit the bullet. I bought a sewing machine. After borrowing Susan's enough times to feel like an annoyance, I figured I must use it enough to justify buying one. It is nothing fancy, but then again neither am I. Pretty much I only know how to make blankets. Maybe someday I will make a pillowcase. Dream big Camille, dream big.

Sorry to spoil the surprise Sarah, but really, did you expect anything besides a fire themed baby blanket?

So, I just had to do a MAJOR catchup on your blog. I stayed away from blogs for about a month, are you impressed? surprised? Way to get a sewing machine. You'll have to bring it over one of these days so we can make some skirts for Ella. I want a sewing machine...I actually asked for one for my birthday. I don't know why I didn't just buy one when I had some extra money...oh wait, because I like to spend it on the girls! Sarah had her baby? You need to catch me up on things. How's the little man doing? We need to talk soon!!!

Camille, you never cease to amaze me! You sew, too? I guess you really can do it all!

I love the fire theme! Carson loves his too and says "wooo wooo" whenever he sees it :)

So I've been borrowing my mom's sewing machine for the past 6 months because I can't bite the bullet and buy my own...that would mean I really am turning into domestic mama. Yikes!
