
When I was tossing around the idea of going cupcake I was trying to think of new fun filled flavors. One idea was a version of a boston cream cake, inspired by those boston cream doughnuts. I figured if you could stick custard inside a doughnut, why not inside a cupcake?!

Kerstin was with me as I was bouncing these ideas around, so when it came to her birthday she requested the boston cream cupcake. I used a yellow cake mix, and then made the custard and chocolate glaze as found in the
Sky High book. These might even be better than my other
filled cupcakes.
