So why dandelions?
I know they are weeds.
I know they are bad.
And I know that above all things you should NOT blow on those joyous little puff-balls because it will spread those terrible weed seeds all over the lawn.
But I just can't help it.
I was in Seattle with Julie, Ruston and kids last month when we came upon a neighborhood with some empty lots at the end. And what happened to be growing in the tall grass of the empty lots? Gianormeous dandelions with freakishly long stems. Dozens and dozens of them. It was like heaven. Needless to say that we regressed into kids and shared the joy of blowing the white fairy-like seeds flying into the air (hoping that the wish we made would magically come true) with the next generation. My mom loves dandelions. I think that is why I started liking them, because she did. I like a lot of things because I knew my mom liked them, dandelions and shasta daisy's being two of them. Thanks for instilling a love of those simple things Mom.

Yeah...a new blog to read! Can't wait to hear about the thousands of little things you enjoy out of life, like 8 ball trips.
... and I love flip-flops and plumeria and happy faces because of you Cam! Love Mom
